“Come as you are” the sixth pride parade in Thessaloniki

The Pride parade of Thessaloniki, one of the biggest in Europe, celebrates its sixth edition. This year’s parade will be held between 14 and 17 June 2017, under the motto “Come as you are”. This time the parade will be paying attention to the right of identifying yourself just as you feel like and respecting the identity of the others.

Thessaloniki Pride wants to remind people that sexual and gender identities are closely related to the people who identify with them. People have the right to express their identity and gender expression and more importantly to freely make their sexuality as visible as possible and therefore fall in love with whoever they want to.

On the sixth edition of the parade, the organizers want to invite people from all over the region in order for the event to be more inclusive. For 4 days, Thessaloniki will be the center of major celebrations within different events, concerts, parties on the roads and of course the Pride parade.
