In Mexico was officially launched the global ILGA World Conference attended by over 500 activists for the rights of LGBTI community, among whom was a delegation from Cuba led by Fidel Castro’s daughter, Mariela Castro Espin.
This year, the main theme of the conference is “The decolonization of our troops,” a really significant issue especially for a country like Mexico, where, before the Spanish colonization, there were clear traces of how homosexual relationships were unprejudiced part of the society and culture of the country.
